Here Comes CALICO Coming to Comic Shops Near You

December 27, 2022 – New York, NY – Sigma Comics announced today that it has inked a distribution deal with Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. Starting in 2023, Diamond will begin distributing Sigma Comics’ flagship title, Here Comes CALICO, to comic book shops all across the globe. Fresh off the heels of a very successful comic book convention tour, the upstart publisher also has a new title in the works, which may also be distributed by Diamond. H.H. German, Sigma Comics’ founder, praised the deal as the logical next step in the right direction for the publisher.

“The plan was always to play small ball early on by just getting on base and building that connection with the audience,” said German. “Once it was clear that the majority of people were there for our special brand of comics, we knew it was time to start digging in and taking harder swings. The Diamond deal definitely represents that, as this is a notable milestone in our very short history, and it comes at the right time.”

German’s timing reference points to Sigma Comics’ recent spate of sell outs of issues of Here Comes CALICO at comic book conventions all across North America. The title has sold out at various events, including Baltimore Comic-Con, Rhode Island Comic Con, HeroesCon, among many others. “The people have spoken loud and clear. They want Here Comes CALICO, and now we’re making sure that they get it, wherever they are.”

Here Comes CALICO #1 will be listed in the PREVIEWS March 2023 catalog.
