Well beyond what she sees from her perch, on the second floor window of Hector’s building in Red Hook Brooklyn, June knows everything that’s happening in Hector’s neighborhood. While she is unaware of Hector’s alter-ego as The CALICO, she knows that he protects animals, because she is paid by Hector specifically to keep him informed both, on any peculiar occurrences in the neighborhood, and on anyone mistreating animals.
